Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to provide services for our Middle Tennessee orthopaedic clinics. This is a remote position with the occasional in-office work within the Middle TN area.

Responsibilities:
  • Outpatient Nutrition Coaching and Counseling (starting at ~10 appointments per week)
  • Charting and Documentation
  • Scheduling
  • Insurance Coding and Self-Pay Billing
  • Patient document upload and file organization
  • Attend monthly meetings with the billing/coding team
  • Attend meetings with the VOI team when available
  • Site visits and ongoing communication with site managers
  • Calling healthcare provider practices for external referrals, office notes, labs
  • Conducting team talks for student-athletes
  • School visits for nutrition seminars
  • Corporate wellness webinars
Requirements:
  • Registration by the CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
  • TN State License
  • 3 years applicable RDN experience
  • Outpatient experience is preferred, but not required
  • HIPAA Compliance
  • Insurance billing and coding knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
