Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview:
Accountable for the fiscal oversight of a significant production facility, managing accounting operations, inventory oversight, cost evaluation, and financial disclosures.
Core Responsibilities:
- Offer financial guidance for capital initiatives from inception to execution.
- Ensure precise documentation of production and overhead expenditures.
- Examine discrepancies, operational outcomes, and essential performance indicators.
- Produce reports detailing manufacturing efficiency and outcomes.
- Recognize and execute cost-saving measures.
- Assist in the monthly closing activities and uphold standard cost practices.
- Support both internal and external financial audits.
- Guarantee that internal controls are effectively established at the facility level.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage the fixed asset registry.
- Evaluate product profitability, cost efficiencies, and new product initiatives.
- Monitor inventory movements and oversee the cycle count program.
- Administer facility leases and their reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- CMA/CPA certification is advantageous.
- MBA degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in standard cost systems and accounting software.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data interpretation.
- Knowledge of General Accounting principles.
- Competent in PC software and mainframe applications.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily sedentary with occasional standing and walking.
- Minimal bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 5 lbs.
- Capable of pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs.
