MRI Imaging Specialist

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures in an outpatient setting, maintaining high levels of customer service and quality patient care. This role requires a strong ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Job Responsibilities- Perform routine MRI procedures following established protocols and demonstrating compassion to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Properly input patient information into the system, including protocol, patient history, and referring providers, and discuss abnormalities with the radiologist as needed.
- Log injections, review lab results, and calculate GFR as necessary.
- Identify patients, maintain patient confidentiality, and assume responsibility for patient care, safety, and comfort.
- Stock exam rooms, maintain equipment, and report malfunctions to the supervisor or appropriate service provider.
- Assist in other modalities as assigned and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner.
- Maintain credentials for the position and adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the Florida Department of Health. Advanced certification in MRI is required.
Work EnvironmentThis role requires prolonged sitting or standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching, and the ability to lift 50 pounds or more. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
