Essentra is actively seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with the development and documentation of various testing and inspection processes for injection molded and dip molded components, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Shift Details:
This position is for the 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with a starting wage of $15.50/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate quality standards to machine operators and supervisors as necessary.
- Complete quality documentation as required.
- Organize and maintain inspection samples and related documentation.
- Conduct initial inspections of parts.
- Perform in-process attribute and functional gauging.
- Identify and document nonconforming products.
- Sort and certify rejected nonconforming items.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mathematical skills and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understanding of the function of inspected parts and the ability to make informed decisions regarding quality and inspection procedures.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in quality assurance.
- Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges.
- Skills in data entry and record keeping, both paper and electronic.
