Job Summary

NorthBay Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Surgical Prep Area Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients, adhering to Jean Watson's Theory of Caring and NorthBay's professional nursing practice model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote, maintain, and restore health

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher (excludes grandfathered employees)
  • Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS certification
  • Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, Medical-surgical nursing

Compensation:

  • Hourly Salary Range: Min $72.59 - Max $87.53 (based on years of experience)
  • 15% differential available to external and internal applicants with Per Diem status
  • Generous Shift Differentials, Night Differential: $9.80 per hour, Evening Differential: $6.60 per hour
