RN Unit Manager

We are seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing unit at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to mentor and guide less experienced nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Mentor and develop less experienced nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Review resident records and monitor overall care to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Address questions and concerns from residents and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ensure the nursing unit is well-stocked with medical supplies and equipment.
- Represent the nursing unit's interests with upper-level management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
