Job Summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team as a Vascular Specialist in Durham, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams to diagnose and treat vascular-related conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams to diagnose and treat vascular-related conditions, including vascular ultrasounds, Doppler studies, and other related procedures.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and medical histories.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in a vascular specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Current BLS certification and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
