As part of our Plant Production division, we are in search of a Cheese Production Supervisor dedicated to enhancing our success in cheese manufacturing and quality assurance. Our commitment to excellence drives us to innovate and invest in our processes.

At Leprino Foods, the starting salary for this position typically falls between $104,000 and $128,000, complemented by an annual target bonus of 15%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Cheese Production Department, ensuring the effective conversion of raw materials into high-quality cheese products.
  • Guide and develop department supervisors and team members, promoting a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Advocate for safety initiatives to maintain a secure workplace for all staff.
  • Manage quality assurance systems to comply with both company and customer standards, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Administer the department's budget, achieving financial objectives through strategic scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Foster strong working relationships and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement and enforce company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness through proficient management of production processes and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • A minimum of 8 years in food manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Proficient in computer systems, with a willingness to learn SAP or other manufacturing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in dairy or cheese production.
  • Direct leadership experience managing supervisory staff.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field.
