Compensation:$60,000 yearly
Key Responsibilities:- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, and legal briefs.
- Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating client meetings, and conducting research on relevant legal articles.
- Manage law office activities, including drafting subpoenas and liaising with process servers.
- Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents.
- Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information regarding legal matters.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Preference for candidates with a paralegal professional certification or advanced education in paralegal studies.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal environment under the supervision of an attorney.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree.
- Extensive experience as a paralegal, particularly in Family Law, including proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and managing Discovery processes.
- Experience in drafting and managing documents related to Real Estate transactions.
