Position Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to enhance the overall experience of each guest by ensuring that all hotel facilities and public areas are impeccably maintained and that exceptional guest service is consistently delivered. You will play a crucial role in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction and maintaining product quality in alignment with the standards set by Platinum Companies. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance needs in public spaces or guest accommodations. Professionalism is expected at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow the standards established by Platinum Companies and relevant brand guidelines.
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to the property, guests, and staff.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures, including the identification and removal of potential hazards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in housekeeping and guest service functions.
  • Manage the disposal of linens and waste from room attendant carts.
  • Perform duties with minimal disruption to guests.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and service in designated areas, including restrooms, lobbies, and common spaces, in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with the repositioning of mattresses and furniture as directed by supervisors.
  • Ensure cleanliness of public elevators and restrooms.
  • Provide necessary amenities and supplies to room attendants.
  • Transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Polish and clean furniture, fixtures, glass surfaces, and window frames.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop stairwells, vending areas, and entryways.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tiled and floored areas.
  • Monitor and manage supplies and amenities to minimize waste in public areas.
  • Safeguard equipment, keys, and supplies issued daily.
  • Report lost items and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company business, including financial, personnel, and guest information.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and communication skills are essential.
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards must be upheld at all times.
  • Uniforms should be worn in accordance with company and brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in English is required; bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, as well as bending and reaching.
  • Willingness to assist other departments when needed.
  • Commitment to completing company and brand training programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Outgoing personality is preferred.
  • Professionalism must be maintained at all times.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
