Production Supervisor Job Summary

Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our Fort Smith, AR Plant 2 location. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines, meeting customer specifications and USDA requirements, and leading a team of hourly employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of up to 40 employees, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high-quality production and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Food Safety Guidelines and GMP procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals, maximize yields, and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct daily reporting, including employee time edits, and participate in interviews for open positions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant supervisory or lead experience in par fry, fully cooked, further processing operations.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence to achieve results.
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus.
