ACLS Instructor

We are seeking a skilled ACLS Instructor to join our team at Winchester Hospital. As a healthcare organization, we prioritize the well-being of our patients, colleagues, and communities.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct healthcare professionals in ACLS standards and expectations as per AHA algorithms.
• Teach courses using required materials, paperwork, and maintaining equipment/student/instructor ratios.
• Recognize class participants' learning needs and incorporate them into training.
• Complete and sign all paperwork required with each course.
• Teach a minimum of six classes annually.
• Serve as an expert in ACLS skills.
• Evaluate and assess classes for performance improvement of class content and instructor qualifications.
• Stay up-to-date with AHA standards, certification for instruction by the AHA, and adult learning practices.
• Attend instructor-training update programs as required by the AHA.
• Maintain current status as ACLS and BLS provider and instructor.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Licensed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor and provider status required.
• Experience: At least one year of ACLS and health education teaching experience preferred.
