Job Title: ACLS Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ACLS Instructor to join our team at Winchester Hospital. As an ACLS Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching healthcare professionals in ACLS standards and expectations, using AHA algorithms and required materials. You will also be responsible for recognizing class participants' learning needs and incorporating them into training.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct healthcare professionals in ACLS standards and expectations
• Use AHA algorithms and required materials to teach courses
• Recognize class participants' learning needs and incorporate them into training
• Complete and sign all paperwork required with each course
• Teach a minimum of six classes annually
• Serve as an expert in ACLS skills
• Evaluate and assess classes for performance improvement of class content and instructor qualifications
• Keep abreast of AHA standards, certification for instruction by the AHA, and adult learning practices
• Attend instructor-training update programs as required by the AHA
• Maintain current status as ACLS and BLS provider and instructor

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Licensed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor and provider status required
• Experience: At least one year ACLS and health education teaching experience preferred
