ROW Project Manager Job Description

At 7 Arrows Land Staff, we are seeking a highly skilled ROW Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for managing the entire ROW acquisition process, from project planning and coordination to compliance and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project timelines, set goals, and ensure that all phases of ROW acquisition align with the project's overall objectives.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and handle contracts, land agreements, and necessary legal documentation.
  • Client and Administrative Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and delivering detailed reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues that arise, such as acquisition delays or legal challenges, and work quickly to find solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Landowner Negotiations: Oversee and direct land agents during negotiations with landowners for easements, rights-of-way, or land purchases.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, right of way policies, and real property acquisition procedures.
  • Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take on new responsibilities readily.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and Microsoft Office products.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Familiarity with landowner relations or community outreach is a plus.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • Smartsheets experience is a plus.
