Job Details:
  • The candidate/phlebotomist is accountable for taking vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
  • Travel to patients' locations for appointments.
  • Remuneration is based on a per-appointment/event basis, not hourly or salary-paid.
  • Bi-weekly pay.
  • Some travel expenses are covered, depending on the appointment location.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel to specified locations to obtain required samples.
  • Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
  • Gather mandatory patient information and verify identities.
  • Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
  • Accurately label all samples.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including any medical issues experienced during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven experienced phlebotomist.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and handwriting.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Computer proficiency, internet access, and a printer/scanner for printing, scanning, and uploading documents.
