VMR Strategic Solutions is in search of a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to support our client’s needs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in network architecture and will be responsible for generating and communicating all outage alerts and network-related concerns in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhering to network security regulations and guidelines
- Diagnosing and resolving prevalent UC challenges, including troubleshooting issues with endpoints, bandwidth limitations, user profiles, and configuration errors
- Engaging in additional Tier II/III initiatives or upgrades as assigned
- Delivering After Action Reports (AARs) for effective Problem Management solutions
Qualifications
Essential Education and Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Must fulfill DoD IAT Level II criteria upon employment
- In-depth technical knowledge of VoIP systems, hardware, software, and telecommunications standards, including Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Unified Presence
- Familiarity with VTC equipment such as Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco CODECs, and Cisco Meeting Server/Cisco Meeting Manager
- Comprehension of TCP/IP, H323, and SIP protocols

- TS/SCI
Work Environment:
- Onsite
