Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our medical surgical department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.

To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree in nursing, current RN licensure in the state of Texas or an Active Multi-State RN Compact License, and at least two years of healthcare experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and three years of experience are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
