Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at Prisma Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make rounds on all units to support nursing staff and help problem solve by coaching and mentoring Charge Nurses and staff RNs.
  • Obtain report from the Charge Nurse on each unit regarding staffing, hospital falls, AMA's, patient complaints, problems, etc., and coach and mentor Charge Nurses to proactively solve problems.
  • Work with the Resource Staffing Department to stabilize core staffing levels throughout the hospital.
  • Respond to and manage patient/family and physician complaints, resolving immediate issues and documenting incidents for follow-up.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three (3) years of Nursing experience; five (5) years preferred.
  • A current South Carolina R.N. License.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to demonstrate effective communication.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
