Field Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in technical disciplines such as electrical or mechanical engineering. You will also need to be proficient in using Microsoft Project and Excel, as well as have excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role that requires the individual to do prep work before going to the field and actually installing the equipment. The incumbent must be able to install equipment in the field, sometimes requiring work to be performed in lift trucks. Field installation of MIUs and training of the customer is also a large part of this role, as is association of hardware to software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of installing and maintaining Zenner AMI systems (50% of time)
- Provide high-end installation, troubleshooting, and repairs while maintaining quality assurance on Zenner's entire product line (15% of time)
- Regularly assist customers, resellers, and Zenner sales personnel with product support to solve operating problems through telephone communication or field visits (10% of time)
- Conducts technical training programs with resellers and customers as required (10% of time)
- Prepares technical reports for customers and management as required (5% of time)
- Assists with the field testing of new products to ensure performance reliability (5% of time)
- All other duties as assigned (5% of time)
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
