Civil Site Development Manager

At American Structurepoint, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded Project Manager to lead our Civil Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing, marketing, and winning site development engineering work across various locations. This role requires a motivated and hands-on manager who can effectively delegate tasks, mentor and develop staff, and lead quality control. You will also be responsible for driving client satisfaction, participating in proposals and presentations, and providing technical expertise while working in conjunction with our business development staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a BS degree and a PE license in Florida. Additionally, they should have 7+ years of diversified federal and/or site development experience, with a proven track record of managing design projects, including site layouts, grading and drainage design, permitting, road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis. The successful candidate will also have extensive client contacts and relationships, experience with proposals and presentations, and the ability to effectively communicate and lead a staff. Responsibilities:
- Manage projects profitably, including delegating tasks, mentoring and developing staff, and leading quality control.
- Drive client satisfaction, participate in proposals and presentations, and provide technical expertise.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, including identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
- Collaborate with business development staff to develop and implement business strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
- 7+ years of diversified federal and/or site development experience.
- Proven track record of managing design projects, including site layouts, grading and drainage design, permitting, road design, utility design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
- Extensive client contacts and relationships.
- Experience with proposals and presentations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and lead a staff.
