Civil Site Engineer Job Description

S-E-A Corp is seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our forensic engineering team, you will conduct field investigations and analyze failures involving civil-site built environments and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations and analyze failures involving civil-site built environments and infrastructure
  • Evaluate design/construction-related deficiencies associated with grading and drainage, stormwater conveyance, underground utility systems, erosion control, concrete flatwork, asphalt pavements, and hardscape systems
  • Prepare oral and written reports in layman's terms that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediation
  • Deliver professional presentations and develop client relationships
  • Support conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of civil/site development experience
  • P. E. (Professional Engineer) registration required through testing
  • Strong writing skills and public speaking experience a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
