Overview: Emory University, a leading research institution, seeks an exceptional individual to join its esteemed faculty. As part of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine, you will contribute to advancing medical knowledge and providing outstanding patient care.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and education.

Job Description: As an infectious diseases specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care at Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, and/or the Atlanta VA Medical Center. You will also supervise and teach residents and medical students, including lectures as assigned. Additionally, you will participate in the supervision/evaluation of Infectious Diseases fellows in clinics and on wards. Developing an active independent research program in the area of infectious diseases is highly encouraged.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the time of hire. A minimum of three years of Internal Medicine residency training in an ACGME-accredited program and satisfactory completion of at least two years of Infectious Diseases fellowship training are also required. Three letters of reference from distinguished professionals in the field are essential.
