About the Account Representative Program
The Account Representative program is designed for individuals who are new to outside sales. This program is a great opportunity for those who are looking to start a career in sales and want to grow with a successful company.
Program Overview
The program begins with a structured two-year training and developmental period. During this time, you will work full-time as an entry-level Outside Sales Representative, with a base + bonus + commission compensation plan.
Key Components of the Program
- Classroom-Based Learning: You will receive comprehensive training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.
- Online Product Training: You will learn about our products and services through online training modules.
- Hands-On Practice: You will work alongside experienced sales representatives and divisional trainers to gain hands-on experience.
- Development of Valuable Skills: You will learn skills such as prospecting and cold-calling local businesses, hands-on product demonstrations, transactional selling vs. systems selling, the sales cycle, relationship building, and developing and maintaining a book of business.
End-Goal of the Program
The end-goal of the program is to prepare you to transition into an Outside Sales role with Kimball Midwest. Our company is committed to helping you grow and develop your skills, and we are looking for individuals who are motivated and dedicated to their career.
