Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in supporting departmental efficiencies and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Perform patient registration and scheduling duties, including obtaining complete and accurate patient demographic information and verifying insurance coverage.
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to patients and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Clearance: Ensure that patients are financially cleared for services, including obtaining necessary authorizations and verifying patient liability.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including HIPAA and OIG guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting; 0-1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in PC/CRT/printer; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.

The Patient Access Representative II will work in a hospital administration setting, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
