Job Title:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Actalent. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all specimens are collected and processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
2. Verify patient demographic information and initials post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy.
3. Maintain appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, such as maintenance and temperature logs.
4. Complete all data entry requirements accurately, including patient registration, entry of test orders, and billing information.
5. Perform departmental-related clerical duties such as data entry, inventory, stocking supplies, and answering phones.

Requirements:
6+ months phlebotomy experience
Customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
