In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring profitability through effective project delivery, estimating, and financial oversight.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing or delegating tasks necessary for the completion of projects, such as hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and project closeout.
  • Following established project management protocols to determine the optimal resource allocation to meet project timelines.
  • Maintaining constant oversight of project progress, ensuring that any scope changes are documented and approved before implementation.
  • Acting as the primary on-site leader for assigned projects.
  • Conducting cost estimation, project scheduling, and management activities while ensuring positive cash flow.
  • Guaranteeing that projects are executed within budget and billed promptly according to contractual agreements.
  • Managing the procurement and delivery schedule of materials for assigned projects.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers and contractors.
  • Engaging with customers throughout the project lifecycle to gather feedback on satisfaction.
  • Communicating project status to management, including forecasts for revenue, costs, and gross margins.
  • Coordinating customer training requirements and providing necessary documentation and manuals.

It is essential to adhere to all safety standards set by Johnson Controls and our clients, demonstrating a high level of safety awareness for all employees and subcontractors on-site.

Your strong organizational and time management skills will enable you to adapt to changing priorities effectively. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, along with approximately 4-6 years of field experience in the HVAC sector. Familiarity with basic project accounting principles is also necessary, as is the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
