Key Responsibilities

As a Hospice Care Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Preparing reports and communicating regularly with immediate supervisors and personnel.
  • Cheerfully and promptly handling inquiries or referrals for services.
  • Promptly identifying caller needs and taking proper action.
  • Handling sensitive issues professionally and diffusing potential problems.
  • Maintaining efficient and accurate records regarding pertinent information for insurance verification.
  • Participating in performance improvement quality assurance programs.
  • Assisting with preparing and maintaining billing files.
  • Providing support to ensure accurate and timely information required by the corporate office.
