Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assistant to join our team at Spherion. In this role, you will support the production process by performing routine quality checks, tests, and inspections, as well as assisting with various tasks throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks, tests, and inspections during or after the production process to ensure high-quality products.
  • Press Operations: Move and load paper into and out of presses, jog and box orders, move products, and assist with plating and wash-ups.
  • Product Assembly: Assemble, package, bind, or fabricate products such as displays, signs, and kits using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and light power tools.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area following safety guidelines.
  • Team Support: Support the production team and work under the direction of the Production Supervisor, Production Team Lead, or Senior Press Operator.
Requirements
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a printing manufacturing company.
  • Skills: Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting, experience using hand tools and light power tools is a plus.
  • Education: No degree required.
