Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand patients' mental health concerns, behavioral patterns, and emotional well-being.
  • Use standardized assessment tools and interviews to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients to establish achievable treatment objectives and provide individualized treatment using various therapeutic modalities.
  • Offer psychoeducation to patients about mental health conditions and effective coping strategies.
  • Implement behavior modification techniques to address maladaptive behaviors and promote positive changes in patients' lives.
  • Work collaboratively with primary care clinicians and consult with other healthcare team members to integrate behavioral health strategies into patients' comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide immediate psychological support and intervention during mental health crises, assessing risk and ensuring patient safety.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed in the State of Texas as a Psychologist.
  • Specialization or experience in behavioral health, clinical psychology, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
