At PTG Logistics, we're seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Janesville, WI. As a key member of our transportation department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety, performing preventative maintenance as needed.
- Accurately document and log work, rest periods, miles driven, and retain fuel/toll receipts.
- Comply with truck driving regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions, collect and verify delivery instructions, and report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL with a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work one to two nights a week with layovers required.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Passion for safety and customer service.
Benefits:
- $0.53 per mile for every mile driven.
