Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to collect and transport solid waste and recyclables
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure efficient service
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Manage assigned helpers and ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle and equipment
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the route and customer needs
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in weather and traffic conditions
  • Exposure to loud noises, dust, and other environmental hazards
  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
  • Occasional work in high-traffic areas and exposure to hazardous materials
