About the Role

The Medical Assistant - Float position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our medical centers. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

  • Measure and record patient vital signs, medical history, and interview notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, perform routine screening tests, and assist physicians during exams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to OSHA safety standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a heart for compassion and empathy.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant or similar healthcare professional.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
