Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance team performance
- Provide guidance and support to student athletes to help them achieve their full potential
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and successful athletic program
- Attend meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations
- Supervise team members during practices and games, ensuring a safe and positive environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and promote a positive team culture
- Experience in coaching basketball at the high school or collegiate level
- Strong knowledge of the rules, regulations, and strategies of the sport
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- NYS Coaching Certification
- Experience working with student athletes from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of sports management software and technology
