We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Network Architect to join our team at ALTA IT Services.

About the Job

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This role will be based in Washington DC (ONSITE) and requires direct hire with full benefits.

As an Enterprise Network Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network systems for our clients. You will work closely with our team to translate stakeholder requirements into network solutions, modifications, and support upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Deployment: Translate stakeholder and government requirements into network solutions, modifications, and support upgrades (network reconfiguration, hardware and software acquisitions, installation, and testing).
  • Executive Level Support: Provide executive level government agency support related to the designing, deploying and efficient and optimal operation of business-critical enterprise and network environments.
  • Technology Assessment: Strive to understand the application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols to provide innovative and new ideas to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Tier 3 and Tier 4 Engineering Support: Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 engineering support for all Networks, including hardware and process management, architecture, design, configuration.
  • Communication Expertise: Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks. Provides expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
