We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at AEG. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of events taking place in our venue, including developing, coordinating, and supervising event-related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement event plans, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with event stakeholders, including promoters, show representatives, and sports teams, to ensure accurate information exchange.
- Logistics and Operations: Coordinate event set-ups, ensure accurate staffing plans, and manage labor management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and distribute event data sheets, post-event reports, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in event coordination, venue management, or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED required; 2-year degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, CAD, and audio-visual equipment; excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
This is an event-based position with no minimum number of hours guaranteed. Work schedules are determined by event activity and availability. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, work a flexible schedule, and manage time wisely.
