Position Overview

At Firehouse Animal Health Center Leander, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in driving the flow of our hospital by coordinating patient care in a friendly and efficient manner that ensures excellent service to our clients and patients.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Scheduling appointments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Registering new clients
  • Checking clients in and out for appointments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Confirming patient appointments
  • Preparing next day surgery and treatment documents
  • Providing exemplary communication and customer service
  • Conducting follow-up correspondence
  • Receiving and processing client requests and prescription refill requests
  • Preparing and mailing greeting cards to welcome new clients and reward existing clients

Clerical Skills

Our Client Service Coordinator will also be responsible for:
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Answering and directing multiple phone lines
  • Responding to company emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing and processing scans and referral reports
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of our hospital
  • Providing cleaning and maintenance of office equipment
  • Performing other duties as assigned

As a Client Service Coordinator at Firehouse Animal Health Center Leander, you will need to be:
  • Dependable and able to work shifts that support our hospital's business hours and until all patients have been discharged
  • Comfortable with potentially high noise levels, bites, and scratches
  • Subject to hazardous chemicals
