Responsibilities:

  • Assist exercise project teams in the design, planning, execution, and post-exercise evaluation of both discussion-based and operations-based exercises, adhering to HSEEP methodology.
  • Facilitate exercise meetings and events, while conducting research and authoring observations and recommendations for after-action reports and improvement plans.
  • Analyze trends from exercise data, documenting innovative practices and lessons learned, and monitor implementation activities for dissemination among various agencies and organizations.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences, including senior government officials.

Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in exercise planning and execution utilizing HSEEP methodology.
  • Proficient in SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • This position requires an active Secret clearance and candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with laboratory processing of biological pathogen samples and knowledge of the Laboratory Response Network/Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks.
