Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of pharmaceutical care provided to our customers. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving customer issues and concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, and maintain the Pharmacy area in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
