Schedule: PRN

  • Covering sick call outs, PTO, and other misc. shifts

  • There is a specific need to cover a Friday evening shift from 3 PM- 11:30 PM MST

Shift : Mix of days and nights, including weekends

Location: 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, 80138

The role you’ll contribute:

Assist pharmacists in promoting an organized and functional pharmacy service. Prepares medications for dispensing and maintains records.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Alerts pharmacy director, manager, or pharmacist of immediate problems requiring corrective action in a timely manner.

  • Screens nursing and physician inquiries and phone calls by directing to appropriate pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely communication.

  • Performs special projects, including the training of new technicians and overseeing their activities, and other activities as assigned to increase and improve level of service, skill level, and productivity.

  • Attains professional growth by attending or participating in a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education biannually, as required by national certification bodies.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed (Required Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Active Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Colorado (PHAT) and Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)

  • Provisional licenses must obtain State license within 12 months or expiration date of provisional license (whichever comes first)

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed (Desired Qualifications):

  • IV Admixture clean room experience strongly preferred

  • Hospital pharmacy experience
