We are seeking a skilled Sonographer Gen RVT to join our team at Medical City Lewisville. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist vascular surgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, and other physicians in performing quality diagnostic vascular sonographic procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Operate ultrasound and segmental pressure equipment, prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Support and help achieve departmental and hospital goals.
- Perform abdominal and obstetrics/gynecology sonographic procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography preferred.
- Previous experience as a sonographer in a hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to obtain advanced certification within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training program.
