Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures, focusing on patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures, focusing on patient care and education
  • Support and help achieve departmental goals and participates in departmental Improvement Activities
  • Help position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards, magnet safety guidelines
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification through ARRT
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • 1+ years experience preferred
  • Must be willing to train in Cardiac MRI
  • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required
