Job Summary:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopies, as per physician orders and department protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopies, as per physician orders and department protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging, providing clear instructions and answering questions or concerns.
  • Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to appropriate personnel for maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, assess results, and provide support for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
  • Attention to detail and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
  • State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and imaging procedures.
