We educate approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. Our schools offer a range of programs, including Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Behavior Technician to work under the guidance and oversight of the classroom teacher and the Behavior Intervention Specialist to support students with both academic and behavioral needs. This may include modifying curriculum, teaching and reinforcing replacement behaviors, managing difficult behaviors, and facilitating students with peer interactions as appropriate to the student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).

Requirements
  • Minimum of Associate degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience working with students in a special education program.
  • Must maintain current Safety Care certification.
  • Must pass district instructional aide exam (waived if applicant has 48 college credits).
