We are seeking dedicated professionals with a background in psychology, education, or social work to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide 1:1 support to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in their homes.
Our Behavior Technicians play a vital role in teaching new skills in areas such as communication, daily living, and social interaction while targeting challenging behaviors that inhibit safety or independence. We utilize evidence-based strategies to teach effective replacement behaviors, promoting a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs and goals. You will work closely with families to provide guidance and support in implementing ABA strategies in everyday situations, ensuring a seamless transition between home and therapy settings.
We offer a comprehensive 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program, which is the first step toward earning your RBT credential through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Upon completion of the certification process, you will receive a $2 per hour pay increase.
Our team is committed to supporting our Behavior Technicians through a culture of empathy and ongoing supervision. We believe in empowering our team to deliver exceptional care and experience professional growth, creating lasting change for our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to develop communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Using empathy and understanding to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Teaching replacement behaviors that promote safety, independence, and skill acquisition.
- Accurately collecting and documenting data to drive effective, individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating closely with families to provide guidance and support in implementing ABA strategies in everyday situations.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, considering all qualified applicants in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Qualifications for this role include strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and experience working with the pediatric population.
