Assistant Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, motivate team members to achieve their best performance, and provide continuous coaching and development.
  • Customer Service: Establish and demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing positive resolutions to challenges and/or concerns.
  • Operations: Assist the Site Manager in the operation of the car wash, including cash control procedures, managing expenses, and maximizing profitability.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Leadership Ability: Strong leadership ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask, use time management skills effectively, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

Work Environment: This position will work at a job site location and be exposed to the weather elements at all times. Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation, which are 7 days a week, 7:30AM-9:00PM, closing only on Christmas. Evenings and weekends hours are required, and flexibility is necessary to work weekends and 10-12 hour days.
