Lead Teacher Opportunity

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, while also taking the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
  • Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
  • Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success.
  • Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers.
  • Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
  • College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
  • The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
