THE ROLE
The Cannabis Patient Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a unique shopping experience that drives sales success. This position is primarily responsible for guiding customers through a personalized service experience. The Cannabis Patient Advisor manages daily operations within the retail environment while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Uphold the company’s mission and core values, ensuring high ethical standards and professionalism at all times.
- Deliver outstanding and precise customer service by addressing inquiries and directing concerns appropriately.
- Conduct informative tours of the sales area, making product suggestions based on thorough research of available offerings.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of patient and member benefits, discounts, and promotions, while encouraging memberships for medical clients.
- Follow product handling protocols, including adherence to safety and health policies as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure the store remains clean and organized by restocking items, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing as necessary.
- Operate the cash register, computer-based POS system, and manage cash transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, enhance guest satisfaction, and meet compliance objectives within designated timelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a retail setting is required.
- Strong computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills are essential.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities in both phone and in-person interactions.
- Local travel may be required occasionally.
- Regularly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequent periods of sitting.
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach above shoulders, and perform light to moderate lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally engage in twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, or crawling.
