Location Requirement: Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH. This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office attendance three days a week.

We are on the lookout for a professional with a background in Business Analysis and Data Analysis to support the development of a comprehensive reference data management system. The focus will be on standardizing metrics and KPIs across various Warehouse Management system implementations. Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or third-party logistics (3PL) projects is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability and facilitate refinement sessions.
  • Elicit high-level requirements and Acceptance Criteria from the business team, creating and refining epics and stories to be development-ready.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with business partners to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate project delivery by facilitating design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Gather key inputs from the enterprise architecture team and identify solution interdependencies.
  • Act as a primary liaison to Product and other departments with specific business functions.
  • Collaborate with various Product, Shared Services, and Backend Data teams to identify, document, and communicate business needs while providing technological solutions.
  • Answer queries and clarify requirements for projects and enhancements throughout the estimation, refinement, development, and QA processes.
  • Work independently and proactively to meet refinement deadlines, ensuring the backlog is consistently filled with fully refined stories.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Independent problem solver with the capability to creatively translate business data and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to work effectively with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate changes and quickly prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Over 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
  • More than 8 years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure to software development.
  • Experience in planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products such as Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence (or other Agile tools).
