Location Requirement: Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH. This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence three days a week.

We are in search of a candidate with a solid foundation in Business Analysis and Data Analysis to support the development of a comprehensive reference data management system. The selected individual will play a crucial role in standardizing metrics and KPIs across various Warehouse Management system implementations. Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or third-party logistics (3PL) projects is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability while facilitating refinement sessions.
  • Elicit high-level requirements and Acceptance Criteria from the business team, creating and refining epics and stories to ensure they are development-ready.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with business partners to enhance satisfaction.
  • Coordinate project delivery by leading design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Gather essential inputs from the enterprise architecture team and identify solution interdependencies.
  • Act as a primary liaison to Product and other departments with specific business functions.
  • Collaborate with various Product, Shared Services, and Backend Data teams to identify, document, and communicate business needs while providing technology solutions.
  • Answer inquiries and clarify requirements for projects and enhancements throughout the estimation, refinement, development, and QA processes.
  • Work independently and proactively to meet refinement deadlines, ensuring the backlog is consistently filled with well-defined stories.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Independent problem solver with the capability to creatively translate business data and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate changes and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
  • At least 8 years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure to software development.
  • Experience in planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products, including Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or other Agile tools).
