Job Overview:


As a Lead Architect in the realm of Single-Family Acquisition Architecture, you will take charge of pivotal architectural decisions within the Single-Family Servicing and Operations sector. This includes overseeing Loan Activity Processing, Loss Mitigation Management, Valuation Management, Operations Transparency initiatives, Operations Command Center Solutions, Robotics Automation Solutions, and the technical definition of Operation End-to-End Target State.

A profound comprehension of technical architecture is essential, along with experience in deploying solutions within a cloud environment.

Familiarity with industry best practices regarding agile methodologies and microservices architecture patterns is crucial, alongside a solid background in Domain Driven Design practices.

This position will report to the Vice President of Single-Family Architecture and will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Client's Single-Family Core Platforms and the Vice President of Operations Technology.

The Lead Architect should possess experience in implementing Technical/Deployment Architectures utilizing the AWS suite of Services, in addition to expertise with engineering tools and capabilities that address inter-service communication, data hydration, application security, and platform resilience.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape your workday while collaborating with dedicated professionals, enabling you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Spearhead Architecture for Single Family Operations End-to-End Target State architecture in collaboration with peers, business units, and engineering teams.
2. Direct architectural solutions for both Performing and Non-performing Loans.

3. Strategize and design methodologies for optimizing and integrating various technology platforms, policies, and principles that facilitate target state implementation.

4. Ensure robust, integrated functionality of diverse systems and technology interfaces.

5. Evaluate the performance of overall technology and communication systems, along with end-to-end processes, to enhance and optimize systems and processes for the future.

6. Collaborate cross-functionally within the architecture and technology domains, influencing key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, adherence to architectural standards, and resolution of conflicts.


Qualifications:

Education Level (Required):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:
10+ years of architecture and technology strategy experience within the financial services sector.
10+ years of experience leading transformative technology initiatives.
Experience in guiding cross-functional teams through collaboration and influence.
Understanding of Agile and Cloud Enablement best practices.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Proven experience in developing architecture blueprints, supporting Agile implementations, and conducting Architecture Sprints.
Experience in driving architectural and business innovation thought processes.
Familiarity with Mortgage business capabilities is highly desirable.
Ability to clearly communicate and present analyses and results, persuading others by backing ideas with logical arguments/data.
Experience in mentoring and coaching senior architects.
Technical expertise in AWS public cloud, cloud-native design, microservice architecture, design thinking, user experience, event streaming/sourcing, and non-functional requirements.
